Capurgana? Isn’t it in Jamaica?

port de Capurgana

After an epic journey to pass from Central America to South America, we arrived in Capurgana, in Colombia. It a small port between the jungle and the sea.

We discovered a charming city full of bikes and horse-powered taxi-cart riding over the pavement along colourful houses. People are very relax, as if they had all the life to live (and they do!). Music pours out of every houses.
It’s told that this town is very Jamaican, and for us it’s a good motivation to do a further travel in Jamaica. Very logically, local hippies can be seen on the beach selling handicraft.
And there are several hike trough the jungle (including natural swimming pools). In the evening, everybody gather around the soccer field and dance and party.

Capurgana

This town is a very hype destination for very healthy Colombian. Big hostel are welcoming theim along the beach (US 150 for one day).
